We sold our house, packed our bags and moved from the USA to the UAE. Jina landed a job with the public school system in Abu Dhabi and we were placed in Abu Dhabi city, about an hour away from Dubai. We arrived in August of 2016, and that’s when our journey begins.

These are memoirs of one family’s global experiences as they transition to becoming expats for the first time. Jina has been a public school teacher and administrator for 12 years in the Dallas, Texas area. Eddie has worked extensively in the insurance industry. They begin their adventure along with their three children, Cohen, Ellis and Eason.
